The island of Krk is the northernmost island in the Mediterranean and the closest island to the European continent. The mild climate makes the island an ideal holiday destination. The place of Punat is placed with in the protected bay ideal for boaters and surfers, on the southern side of the island of Krk.
The apartments are situated in the old part of the city of Punat, pleasant little place surrounded by the virgin nature of Croatia ’s glorious coast. Punat is a typical Mediterranean place with a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a restful holiday. The environment around are the old fisherman’s houses and narrow streets.
Surrounding of the apartment is very calm, quiet and orderly. Nearby the house are a multitude of private restaurants, services, diving courses, boat rides, excursions, rent a speedboat, renting boats, biking, various courses and other services at affordable prices. Nearby there is the boats crane, and various services related to sailing.
The first beach is made of concrete (beton) and it is distanced from the apartment cca 800m. The next beaches are sandy (gravel). To reach the beach, you can also use little train (baby train) which is circulating every hour through the Punat and connect city centre with the beaches. The one way train ticket is cca (1 or 1,5 EUR/person).
